Depart George & Mossel Bay, via Heidelberg to Swellendam. Continue via Ashton & Worcester to Paarl and Malmesbury. Late afternoon arrival at Langebaan, to overnight at Club Mykonos (2 nights). Excellent West Coast hospitality at Boesmanland Farm Kitchen.
Visit legendary Paternoster & Tietiesbaai.
Visit West Coast National Park, in particular Postberg. Beautiful flowers as well as a variety of antelope, such as: eland, kudu, springbok, zebra and more.
Return to Club Mykonos after a full day.
Depart Mykonos, route via Velddrift to Piketberg and then along N7, across Piekenierskloof pass past Citrusdal, to Clanwilliam.
The Wild Flower show in Clanwilliam is an annual event and is hosted in the historical little church – a spectacular display of wild flowers of the region – well worth as visit.
Visit Ramskop Nature Reserve. Beautiful flowers, with the Cederberg Mountains as a backdrop, next to Clanwilliam dam.
Finally reach Van Rhynsdorp, our host for 2 more nights.
Visit the very large, impressive succulent nursery in Van Rhynsdorp. Big variety of succulents are on display!
Route is towards Nieuwoudtville, bulb capital, along the Van Rhyns Pass. Visit the southernmost Quiver tree forest, as well as the picturesque waterfall.
Stop at Nieuwoudtville to see their historical sandstone Church.
Spend some time at “Matjiesfontein” farm, normally a display of wild flowers,on the outskirts of Nieuwoudtville.
Return journey to Van Rhynsdorp, is along Van Rhyns pass.
Early departure, a long road today.
Our route is past Clanwilliam, Citrusdal, and Piekenierskloof pass to Piketberg, where we’ll have a break and stretch our legs.
Proceed via Porterville, past Tulbagh and Wolseley to Worcester.
Robertson is next in line and then via Ashton to Swellendam.
Last stretch of our journey is via Heidelberg to Mossel Bay & George.
