Kruger Park & Lowveld

EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF THE KRUGER PARK & BEAUTIFUL PANORAMIC LOWVELD AREA.

Fly from George to Johannesburg and per bus from there. Overnight 4 nights within the Kruger Park! Spend a total of 5 days in the Park and furthermore visit the awesome Lowveld area, which include: Blyde River, 3 Rondavels, “God’s Window”, Potholes & some waterfalls.

Day 1

Fly from George to O.R. Thambo/Johannesburg International. Travel along the N4, past Witbank, Middelburg and Belfast. Continue via Nelspruit to Hectorspruit to overnight.

Day 2

Pack up at Hectorspruit, travel along N4 to Nelspruit & Sabie, to visit a lovely waterfall.  Proceed to Graskop. NEW! Experience “Gorge lift”, taking us down, into the indigenous forest. Spectacular views & vegetation, with a beautiful view onto the waterfall!! Wooden walkways in the forest, to explore on foot!

Overnight Graskop.

Day 3

Visit  lovely Berlin and Lisbon falls. Visit the “Pinnacle”, a huge “pillar” rising from the floor in Blyde Canyon. “God’s Window” is next in line.

Bourke’s Luck Potholes is very unique, and a must see! Later we’ll reach the viewpoint to see “Three Rondavels”. Along Blyde River Canyon. Through J.G. Strijdom tunnel to Swadini,outstanding resort of  Forever Resorts (Blyde River). Overnight Swadini.

Day 4

The Kruger Park awaits – 4 nights in Kruger Park!

Enter at Orpen gate. Explore and plenty stops for photos. Arrive in the afternoon at Satara Camp, to  overnight  2 nights!

Day 5

Early morning is ideal for game viewing!

We are doing a game drive at the crack of dawn (6 am, ± 2 hours) – our vehicle. Pop in, we are returning later to shower! Explore after breakfast into a different direction.

Return Satara in the late afternoon.

Day 6

Depart Satara. We are heading south. Tshokwane is a picnic spot & small restaurant – Ideal to stretch your legs. Something for lunch.

We are heading for Skukuza.

Late afternoon arrival at Skukuza camp to overnight – largest camp in the Kruger Park, on the banks of the Sabie River  with beautiful views onto the river beneath.

Day 7

Another early morning game drive (6 am, ± 2 hours) – our vehicle. Pop in, we are returning later to shower! Explore after breakfast into a different direction.

Return Skukuza in the late afternoon.

Day 8

Last day in Kruger Park. We are heading further south. Sunset dam is a must – always something to see! Take a break at Lower Sabie. Something for lunch.

Exit Kruger Park at Crocodile bridge. Travel via Komatipoort  to Hectorspruit.

Last night: overnight Hectorspruit.

Day 9

Time to leave & return home. Travel along N4, past Belfast, Middelburg & Witbank to

O.R. Thambo (JHB) Airport. Our flight departs at 14:35, for George.
