Swaziland, Mozambique, Kruger National Park & Panoramic Lowveld

Day 1:

Fly from George to O.R. Thambo (JHB). From here by road along the N4, past Witbank, Middelburg and Belfast. Stop along the way to stretch legs and get something to eat. Continue via Schoemanshoek & Nelspruit to Hectorspruit for our 1st overnight.

Day 2:

Depart Hectorspruit, enter Kruger Park at Malelane gate. Take a drive through a part of the Park, exit at Paul Kruger gate.

Proceed along Kowyn pass to Graskop.

NEW! Experience “Gorge lift”, taking us down, into the indigenous forest. Spectacular views & vegetation, with a beautiful view onto the waterfall!! Wooden walkways in the forest, to explore on foot!

Our journey takes us along Abel Erasmus pass, through J.G. Strijdom tunnel to Swadini.

Another interesting activity awaits. We are going on a boat cruise at  Blyde River dam! Exciting experience, with stunning views.

Unique Kadishi Tufa waterfall can be viewed from the boat.

Overnight Swadini, outstanding resort of Forever Resorts (Blyde River).

Dinner at their Restaurant.

Day 3:

Through J.G. Strijdom tunnel, along Blyde River Canyon, to reach the viewpoint to see “Three Rondavels”. “God’s Window” is next in line. Visit the “Pinnacle”, a huge “pillar” rising from the floor in Blyde Canyon.

Bourke’s Luck Potholes is very unique, and a must see! Visit  lovely Berlin and Lisbon falls.

Route via Graskop  and Sabie, onto N4 to Hectorspruit. (Dinner & overnight).

Day 4:


Early morning departure for our day trip to  Maputo!

Various tourist attractions, amongst others:

Iron house (Casa de Ferro). This house, made entirely of iron, walls, ceiling and all, was designed by Gustav Eifel. It was built as the governor’s house in the late 19th Century, but it proved far too hot, being made of iron, for residence.

Maputo station building – the station has been ranked by international publications as one of the world’s most beautiful.

Botanical Gardens – The gardens are exquisitely laid out, designed in 1885 by Thomas Honney – who in his career also designed gardens for the King of Greece and the Sultan of Turkey.

The statue of Samora Machel, presides over the entrance to the botanical gardens.

Polana Hotel – landmark – luxury 5 star Hotel!

Historical Museum & “Fortress”:

The Fortress is a simple monument, yet impressive. The actual building dates from 1946. It was built, destroyed and rebuilt over and over across times. Today is a museum that gathers pieces of armament and other that represent the equipment used during Mozambique’s colonisation. It is also a place to visit exhibitions of several forms of art.

Return to Hectorspruit: dinner & overnight.

Day 5:

Day visit to Kruger Park! (return to Hectorspruit). Depart our Hotel, travel to Komatipoort. Enter Park at Crocodile bridge.

Stretch the legs at Lower Sabie. Sunset dam is a must!

Relax at Skukuza – something for lunch.

Time to return via Afsaal and exit at Malelane gate in the late afternoon.

Overnight Hectorspruit.(Dinner & overnight).

Day 6:


Early morning departure! Day visit to Swaziland! Exciting day awaits, with plenty tourist attractions, such as: Swazi Candle Factory, Ngwenya Glass Blowing, Matenga Cultural Village, Maguga Dam and more!

Light lunch included in your price!

Return to Hectorspruit: dinner & overnight.

Day 7:

Time to leave & return home. Travel along N4, past Belfast & Witbank to O.R. Thambo

(JHB) Airport. Stop along the way for facilities &  something to eat. Flight departs at 14:35 for George.
